Students will learn such basics as:
• The grip
• Set-up
• Swing fundamentals
• Short game
• Rules
• Etiquette
• Safety

Another way to improve your golf is to have an on course lesson.

On course lessons offer an ideal opportunity for the pro to get to really assess a golfer’s game as a complete package and how the skills of putting, chipping, driving, iron play and play bunker measure up.

Here are some of the benefits of taking an on course lesson:

  • You spend more time with the pro.
  • Playing lessons are structured to cover things differently to a normal range lesson.
  • You get a deeper insight into course management – which side of the tee should you tee up on, what clubs should you be taking, assessing potential trouble down the fairway.
  • you can hone your pre shot routine. Pre-shot routine is an important part of the game which is often neglected on the range.
  • On course lessons enable the pro to give advice on the psychological side of the game – how to handle pressure.
  • It's an opportunity to do some work on the very important short game, one of the most important parts of the game. E.g. when should you play a lob shot and when will a simple chip and run will be more effective?
